FAQ

  • Wild-caught salmon lives in its natural environment and eats a natural diet, resulting in a leaner fish with a stronger omega-3 profile. Farmed salmon is often higher in omega-6 and may contain antibiotics. RAWR uses only wild-caught for a cleaner, more nutritionally dense ingredient.

  • Skin and coat issues are often a sign of nutritional gaps — particularly omega-3 deficiency. This recipe is rich in omega-3 from wild-caught salmon plus additional salmon oil. Most owners see visible coat improvements within 4–6 weeks. The collagen also supports joint and skin health.

  • Absolutely. Both recipes are complete and balanced, so you can rotate freely. Many owners alternate to give their dog variety while covering a broader spectrum of nutrients.

  • Cooked or freeze-dried salmon is completely safe and highly beneficial. The concern around raw salmon relates to a specific parasite in raw Pacific salmon — RAWR’s freeze-drying process eliminates this risk while preserving the nutritional benefits.
